  16. 1 cup water
  17. 1 /2 tsp kashmiri lal mirch
  18. 1 green chilli chopped
  19. 1 medium onion sliced1
  20. 1/4 cup fresh coriander chopped
  21. for tadka
  22. 1/4 cup oil
  23. 1 small onion sliced
  24. 3 garlic cloves sliced
  25. 4-5 whole red chilli
  26. 1 tsp cumin seed
  27. 8-10 kadhi patta

Steps to make to make Kadhi pakora

  1. MAKING THE KADHI: In a blender, add gram flour, yogurt and water. Blend until smooth. Be careful not to blend too much though, just you get a smooth batter.
  2. In a large pot, heat the oil. Add kadhi patta, cumin seed, ginger garlic paste and mix well.Add turmeric powder, Kashmiri lal mirch, and salt. Stir.
  3. In pot add oil, curry leaves, cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste and mix well. Add 1/4 cup water and cook for 2 min or so. Now add the gram flour yogurt mixture, and mix well. Bring to a boil, cover and cook on low flame for about 2 hours while stirring in between.
  4. MAKING THE PAKORAS : In a medium pot,add gram flour, salt, baking soda qnd mix well. Gradually add water and mix well to form a smooth batter.
  5. Add coriander seeds, red chillie powder, green chilli, onion fresh coriander.In a wok, heat oil and fry pakoras until cooked golden and crispy. Transfer them in kadhi, and cook on medium heat for about 8 min or so.
  6. MAKING TADKKA : In a pan add oil, sliced onion and fry until translucent. Add garlic and fry for a second.
  7. Add whole red chillies and mix, add cumin seeds, curry leaves and mix well. Now transfer the tadka to the kadhi pakora.
  8. Serve with rice or roti..
