  2. 1.5 kg Wheat
  3. 3 cup Gram lentil
  4. 3 cup Yogurt
  5. 3 cup Oil
  6. 1 tsp Baking soda

  9. 3 tsp All spice
  10. 3 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  11. 2.5 tbsp Chilli powder
  12. to taste Salt

  14. 1.5 bunch Mint leaves chopped
  15. 1.5 bunch Coriander leaves chopped
  16. 3 cup Oil
  17. 6 Onion
  18. 12 Green chilies chopped
  19. 8-10 Lemon
  20. 6 tbsp Ginger julienne
  21. 6 tbsp All spice
  22. 3 tbsp Roasted & ground cumin

Instructions to make to make Jhat pat Haleem

  1. Wash wheat and lentils with water. Soak in water as required. Now remove extra water of wheat, boil with fresh water. Also add in 1 tbsp oil and mix with a wooden spoon.
    When it comes to a boil add baking soda.
  2. Then wash and cut the beef in small pieces.
  3. Separately boil gram lentils and blend well. In pan put together beef pieces, chopped onion, 1 glass water, 3 tbsp ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, turmeric, salt to taste, all spice and 1 cup oil. Cook well till water dries.
  4. Add tomato paste, yogurt, fry well. Now add boiled wheat with a little water.
  5. Cook over low flame. Put pan on a hot griddle. Simmer on low flame. Heat 2 cup oil in pan, add in chopped onion and fry till golden brown, now remove brown onion and spread on a paper. Leave it till crisp.
  6. Pour haleem in a serving bowl, top with chopped coriander leaves, chopped mint leaves, chopped green chilies, ginger juliennes, roasted ground cumin and all spice powder.
  7. Now it's ready.Serve hot.
  8. For garnish Brown onion slices of lemon,Ginger and Coriander leaves ready with chat masala.
