  2. Add water as per the requirement to make a thick batter. Let it rest for 30-40 minutes till it absorbs water. You can add water to adjust the consistency(idli batter consistency required).
  3. Add eno or baking soda, whatever is available. Mix properly. Now transfer it onto a greased plate.
  4. Steam the dhokla for 10-12 minutes. You can keep checking. Similarly, you can steam the remaining dhoklas.
  5. After they are steamed, cut them in square pieces.
  6. TEMPERING :
    ** Take a kadhai and heat oil in it.
    ** Once the oil is proper hot, lower the flame and add mustard seeds, curry leaves,sesame seeds and dhokla square pieces.
    ** Saute well. At last, sprinkle some finely chopped coriander leaves.
  7. Serve the dhoklas with a green chilli or green chutney or ketchup!!
